Types of resumes

There are three major types of resumes: reverse chronological, functional, and combination. The reverse chronological resume is the most common. With this type of resume, you list your work experience starting with your most recent job then continue back in time ten or twelve years. Most potential employers prefer this type of resume as they can easily see your most recent employers.

Resume Examples

It can be very helpful to examine a number of different examples of resumes before creating your own. There are three main types of resumes.
